Unless you plan to stretch out your cheeks, you'll need to get an air pump!!!
I have blown up my belly boats by mouth for years. But, as I get older, I get a little winded! So, I got a pump. Actually, I have several. All these air pumps are 2-way pumps, that push air out on both the pull and return strokes! You fill your boat twice as fast without wasted motion. The Large Volume pumps (1&2) are great for fast inflation, or, when you are filling several boats at a time. Both these pumps will get your belly boat filled in a hurry! For small volume, or, filling one boat (3) will serve you just as well. And, it is easily carried on your float tube. I have all three of these pumps, which come with several interchangeable tips, for a variety of uses.

But, if you have a lot of belly boats to blow up, want yours filled fast, or have gotten even lazier than I have, get yourself a powered air pump. For a fast fill, get a 12-volt electric pump (4). Some plug into your car lighter, or, clamp onto your vehicle battery. And, (5). It's like a flashlight, powered by D-Cell batteries.

ALWAYS CARRY A WHISTLE!
Keep it around your neck!

Need Help!" Jeff
Interesting enough, you can get dehydrated rather quickly, even though the lower half of your body is suspended in water. Always carry water with you! My water bottle is covered with padded insulation, and, has a clip attached. That way I can Clip it to one of the D-Rings and let it hang in the water to stay cool. And, it won't take up valuable storage space!
Along with a 30-50 SPF sunscreen, you'll need a good hat, with plenty of ventilation, a wide brim and some means of keeping it on your head.
Polarized Sunglasses are a definate must have!
Don't be fooled! Even on an overcast day, reflected
light can cause painful damage to your eyes. Besides,
you can't catch fish, you can't see! For more info:
If you plan to keep your catch, you might want to consider buying a beach bag made of material similar to window screen. I cut off the handles, put a grommet on the two upper corners. I then put two
bungies on the grommets, and tied the other end to clips. I adjusted the bungies so the bag was suspended beside the belly boat, just below the surface. I then put a large plastic key bob on the zipper, to make unzipping the bag easier!
makes the best tackle boxes known to man! I like the waterproof boxes, with the soft plastic gaskets. You'll want one for each type of lure you intend to carry with you. These snap-tight boxes come in various sizes. So, choose those which will fit easily into your belly boat's storage areas. I even carry one with my diabetic stuff.
