As you can see, FROG HOLLER is getting a little droopy, and, settling down for the year. The plants are fading away, the frogs have left for the year, and, we are ready to remove the fish. I have gathered all of the many decorations to put them in storage. The pump and filter have been removed and packed away. My grand-daughter and I built this pond as our summer project. Dakota, who is 4, aka Toad is responsible for feeding the fish, and, she is already looking forward to doing it again, in the spring. Next year we plan to add a turtle .

When you visit us in Millersburg, at FROG HOLLER, PLEASE help us to keep the
pond & area clean!
After these photos were taken, we poured concrete on the of Fremont & Washington Street, just across from the old Millersburg Elementary School.
Next spring we will be putting a 13' wood and canvas umbrella and 2 park benches, so, everyone can sit a while and enjoy FROG HOLLER. We derived that name from the fact that over a dozen frogs moved in before the pond was even completed. We also have collected frog and turtle figures which have been placed throughout and around the pond. We collect them from garage sales, Goodwill and donations from interested parties.
This area now has a concrete slab, with a pipe imbedded in it, to support the 13' umbrella that will cover it in the spring. It will also have two park benches. My neighbor suggested putting a gumball machine filled with pond pellets there, as well.
If you look at the lawn chair,
you'll notice that the fence is indented. The indentation allows for a better view of the pond, and, more room for the park benches. This area will be shaded by a 13' umbrella!
FIVE DAYS after Christmas,
Marion Conner and I were walking by the pond, when we heard a "Bloop", and, there, swimming across the surface, was a frog! Who would have guesses, that a frog would be taking a dig, on December 30th.?
