The two photos, to the right, are of Jake and our Yorkie Tinker, at Diamond Lake, outside of Montezuma, Iowa. The picture, above, is of Jordan, Jake's twin brother, and, Tinker, again. It was near to impossible to keep Tinker off the belly boat, no matter who he went with. Jordan and Jake are now ten years older. Sadly, Tinker died, shortly after these photos were taken from heart complications.

This is my first post to Google+. Most of my bio information is posted on the "BIOGRAPHY" page of BELLY BOATING IOWA. Late fall, winter and the very early spring are slow times for me. But, I manage to fill my time with updating the web-site, reading and getting my gear ready for the next season. There are reels to be cleaned and lubricated, new line to be applied, and, hooks to be sharpened or replaced.
There will soon be a new pages added to BBI. "FIXIN' FISH" will consist of recipes, on video, from the Fishing Pros, their wives and family, as well as some noted Chefs. There will valuable tips and suggestions for the preparation of a wide variety of fish. There is also a "WHAT YOU'LL NEED" page. This will enlighten you concerning some of the equipment you'll want, to make your belly boating more convenient and more enjoyable.
I am in the process of getting a van to transport equipment, and, to pull the small BELLY BOATING IOWA houseboat, which will act as a support vessel. It will carry extra gear, safety equipment and first aid kit, and, rest area. I purchased the craft a month ago, and, will convert it over the winter. Although it will be a rather small craft (18'), it should provide us with some amenities on the water, verses having it all at the camp site.
Be sure to forward this information to all your friends on Google+, and, send the link to BBI to anyone interested in fishing! Jeff
