"Buddy the Belly Boatin' Beaver" invites you to join in the adventure of float tubing! "The Buddy System", is a program designed to get the angler with physical disabilities paired with an able-bodied belly boater, to become fishing buddies!. These buddies are encouraged to develop a attitude of teamwork and fellowship, that fosters a lasting relationship. By attaching a short tether to both of the buddies float tubes, these teams of belly boaters, can participate in belly boating whenever they wish. Belly Boating Iowa hopes to offer anglers a meeting place, for pairing up as buddies, by way of the Buddy System. This is a fledgling program, and, we hope, a success, But, that depends upon the involvement of both the able-bodied and handicapped anglers, that we hope will join Belly Boating Iowa.
