A LITTLE ABOUT CHAPLIN JEFF CLARK, AND, HIS WIFE, VIVIAN
Belly Boating Iowa is the project of Pastor Jeffrey Dean Clark (Retired), from the House of New Life/Christian Fellowship, formerly of Tama, Iowa.  He and his wife now live two blocks from beautiful downtown Millersburg, Iowa.  Millersburg is only about seven blocks long, so, finding us isn't really hard to do.

Jeff was lead to the Lord Jesus Christ, through the loving efforts of Pastor Richard Brenner,a Nazarene pastor, and, the ministry of New Life Christian Retreat Center, of Manawa, Wisconsin.  It is at New Life Christian Retreat Center, where Pastor Clark had his first opportunity to preach. Dick Brenner was a member of the first graduating class, of Vennard Bible College, in 1953.

Jeff Clark moved to Iowa, from Wisconsin, where he was born and raised.  Just months after he received Christ, he move to Iowa, to attend Vennard Bible College, which was forced to close in 2008.  While attending college, his wife left him, along with one son of 18 months of age, and, one only three months old.  His present wife, Vivian, was working for Vennard's daycare center, Kiddie Kollege, and, was a single mother of a three year old son, and, a two year old daughter.  Knowing that Jeff had no vehicle, and, was caring for his two sons on his own, she stopped over to see if she could help in any way.  A friendship formed, and, the Holy Spirit guided them into a relationship, of nearly thirty years, now.  Vivian had a great desire, to have another child, after they married, to cement the family.  She had twin boys!  This blessed them with six children, under school age.  Their six children are now from ages twenty-eight to thirty-four.  They are, as of now, the proud grandparents of sixteen grand children.

Jeff Clark has served with many churches, of various denominations, mission boards, as Deacon, Elder, Trustee, and as Pastor of the Non-Denominational House of New Life.  Pastor Clark also has several certifications as a Certified Christian Counselor, with the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Association of Behavioral Therapists and the Society for Christian Psychology.  He also received certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, with the American Alliance of Hypnotists, and is working on an Advanced Clinical Certification. Jeff also has diplomas in Private Security, Private Investigations and General Law Enforcement, with past memberships in the National Rifle Association and the American Society for Industrial Security.  He is a Honorably Discharged Viet Nam Era veteran of the United States Air force, Security Police.   Pastor Clark was ordained and installed as the Pastor of the House of New Life/Christian Fellowship on the twenty-second day of April, of the year two-thousand.

Mr. Clark's wife, Viv, has worked along-side Jeff, in many of his activities, as well as, serving in ministries of her own.  For years, she ran her own daycare, served in various women's groups, was a  Sunday School teacher, church board member, and, now is the President of the Women's Missionary Society and a board member in the church she presently attends.

Pastor Jeffrey Clark now works for Powell Care Systems, a home health care service, as the Chaplin and Advisor, to the Owner, Doug Powell, his staff and clients, as needed. He has also embarked on the new ministry of Belly Boating Iowa, as, Chaplin/Founder/Director/Custodian/Go-fer, etc..

Jeff Clark also graduated, in 1996, from Kirkwood Community College, in the field of Water &
Waste Water Treatment, and, is planning to consult on fishing pond construction, maintenance and reclamation, with assistance from a wide variety of county, state, and federal agencies. There is a great interest on the part of these agencies and others, to promote the construction and reclamation of Iowa's small fisheries, and, to aid Belly Boating Iowa in becoming both an informational resource and consultant.

Pastor Jeffrey Clark is a member of the American Legion, the Handicapped Float Tubers Association, the North American Fishing Club, B.A.S.S and its Angler Conservation Team.  Jeff is a Take Me Fishing Ambassador, and, sponsor of the Angler's Legacy Pledge.  Jeff is a member of the Honor Guard organization, the PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS, who honor the efforts of our military servicemen, & women, their families, and, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, for their country.  He is also a supporter to the Girl Scouts of America troupes of Montezuma and Brooklyn, Iowa.

Please, pray for Jeff, as he  continues with  the ministry of Belly Boating Iowa, as;
Chaplin/Founder/Director/Custodian/Janitor/Go-fer, etc.
